(i)EMFC GRADUATION CEREMONY 30 JUNE 2023

Friday afternoon, 30 June – a momentous day for our eight graduates of spring 2023 and their proud families. Christopher Apana (Jtekt Europe Bearings BV) and Ni Zhang (ABN AMRO) also met the last iEMFC requirements. A nice hello and warm welcome at Maastricht University awaited our guests: our new iEMFC alumni!

Traditionally, the graduates were all dressed in academic regalia. Prof. Dr Harold Hassink, the Program Director of iEMFC, extended a warm invitation to gather in our Auditorium, the former Jesuit chapel, for the official ceremony of conferring the well-deserved Master of Science and iEMFC certificates. Trung Le-Quoc delegated receiving his diploma to his son Khang. So happy that he could join this ceremony!

On behalf of the students, Marloes Wigger and Jochem Köhler shared a nice presentation with the audience about their iEMFC journey, containing beautiful pictures of highlights and even a song that expressed their feeling, now that these ‘Heroes’ had finished the program. This day ended with some time and an opportunity to catch up with everyone over a festive drink and some snacks.
